St Edward's School, Woodstock Road, Summertown, Oxford was founded in 1863 by the Reverend Thomas Chamberlain and moved to its present location in 1873. The photograph above is of the Quad looking SE with the Woodstock Road on the right hand side. It is Gaudy Day 1904 (celebrating the laying of the foundation stone of the Chapel). Note the old lady in a bath chair on the right, the gentlemen wearing their top hats, the masters wearing their mortar boards and the pupils their boaters.
In 1907 St Edward's School was split into Sets not Houses
