PETERSFIELD.
RETURN MATCH OF CRICKET — HARTING v PETERSFIELD. — On Thursday the return match came off at Harting between two elevens from the above named clubs. The weather was fine, and favourable for cricket, which contrasted sadly against the game, from the lumpy and uneven surface of the ground, that rendered anything like play quite out of the question. Petersfield winning the toss, first stood upon the defensive, and were defeated by two runs, one innings each only played out. Score:—
