PETERSFIELD.
12TH HANTS PRIZE FIRING.—On Saturday last twenty-two of the 12th Hants Rifle Volunteers met at Weaver’s Down, near Liphook, and contested for a fat hog, with the rifle, at 200 and 300 yards, five shots each; it was won by Captain Seward. They afterwards partook of an excellent dinner provided by Private J. Were, at the Railway Hotel. The score of half the above, who obtained the greatest number of points, is subjoined, viz.:—
