THE 12TH HANTS RIFLE VOLUNTEERS.—The firing for the Cup, presented by Sergeant-Instructor Allen, commenced at the Rifle Range, on the 9th instant, and continued during a heavy fall of snow, when the following score was made at 200 yards, seven rounds:—

Captain Seward and Sergeant Caplin having tied, shot off, when the former obtained a bull’s eye and the latter a centre, Captain Seward became the winner upon the first firing—to be shot for monthly, and the cup to be retained by the first winner of three firings.
