At Petersfield Heath Fair, on Monday, about 7000 sheep were penned, which were disposed of at rather higher rates than have been obtained at late fairs. Lambs realised from 26s. to 37s. (a choice lot being sold by Mr. Stubbs, sen. to Mr. Lintott at the latter price); ewes, from 22s. to 42s.; and wethers, from 34s. to 45s. About the usual number of horses were upon the ground, with but little business being done.
