3RD HANTS ADMINISTRATIVE BATTALION.
The annual prize meeting of this battalion took place on the 15th, at Botley, when several purses were shot for, given by subscriptions from gentlemen connected with the district, the officers of the battalion, and the entrance-fees of the competitors. The prizes are smaller than usual, the subscriptions having considerably fallen off. The following is a list of the successful competitors.
First Match.—Seven shots at 200 and 500 yards; Enfield rifles; Wimbledon targets and scoring:—

No competitor was allowed to take more than one prize, or Private Adams would have taken the second prize in the First Match, and Corporal Tandy the fourth in the Second Match.
