PETERSFIELD.
AN ACCIDENT of a serious nature happened a few days since to Mr. William Bailey, of the Queen’s Head Inn, Sheet, who it appears was in the act of removing a calf from its mother, when the heifer butted him over a rail separating another stall from the one in which she was placed, by which three of his ribs were broken. He has since been under care of Dr. Leachman, and is progressing favourably.
