PETERSFIELD.
THE AMATEUR DRAMATIC SOCIETY. — Our amateurs have decided upon giving, on the evenings of the 11th and 12th of January, their promised entertainments at the Dolphin Assembly Room, comprising the performance of Charles Dance's admired comedy, entitled "The Wonderful Woman," to conclude with the laughable farce of "Dearest Mamma." It is gratifying to notice that the proceeds of this season will form the nucleus of a fund for the purchase of an efficient fire engine. We may therefore confidently hope the laudable and persevering endeavours of the present may be crowned with the same success as in the seasons of the past.
