CHRISTMAS CHEER.— Our purveyors of the good things of this life have most creditably set forth to advantage all that pertains to gladden the heart at this happy and festive season. The display made by our butchers of beef, mutton, and pork have well sustained the reputation of oar favoured grazing district, not only for the quantity, but also for the quality exhibited, being well worthy of the visit of ‟Old Father Christmas;” in fact, not a single bad bullock has been slaughtered; and the poultry shown has been excellent throughout.
