      FASHIONABLE MARRIAGE.—On Thursday the 25th of August, were married at Froxfield, Hants, the Rev. Augustus George Legge (eldest surviving son of the Rev. Henry Legge, Rector of East Lavant, Sussex) and Alice Mary, eldest daughter of John Greenwood, Esq., Q.C., of Broadhanger, Hants, and Chester Square. London. The bride was attended by nine young bridesmaids (near relations and friends of the parties), whose beauty and dresses excited deserved admiration. Among those present were Colonel William and Mrs. Greenwood, of Brookwood Park, Colonel George and Miss Greenwood, Captain and Mrs. Trent Cave, Miss Louisa Perceval, Miss Caroline and Miss Charlotte Perceval, Miss Lucy Solomon, Miss Scovell, Miss Alice Greene, Miss Perry, Captain W. Louis. R.N., Mr. Elliot G. Louis, Mr. Charles Egerton Legge, Mr. Davidson, Mr. Augustus Scovell, Mr. Horace Scovell, &c. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Henry Legge. assisted by the Rev. Edmund Docker, of Froxfield, in the beautiful church of that Parish. The approaches were strewed with flowers by the children of the parish in honour of the bride, who quitted the neighbourhood affectionately beloved and regretted by young and old.
