GUARDIAN’S DINNER.—On Tuesday, being the last meeting for the year, the guardians met at the Board-room, and after the conclusion of business they adjourned to the Red Lion Hotel, where the usual complimentary dinner to the chairman, Edward Chalcraft, Esq., took place. The following members of the board were present, viz., Messrs. Shenton (Buriton), Elkington (Sheet), Lock (Eastmeon), Minty (Petersfield), C. Chase (Steep), W. Ayling (Liss), Collis (Colemore), Pratt (Privett), and Munday (Priorsdean), when a first-rate dinner and wines were placed on the table by Mr. Crafts, in his usual superior style, and a happy and agreeable meeting was spent.
