HAMPSHIRE QUARTER SESSIONS
The Epiphany Sessions of this county was commenced on Monday last, before Melville Portal, Esq., chairman. On Monday the Right Hon. W. F. Cowper, M.P., of Broadlands, Romsey; Thomas Fairbairn, Esq., of Brambridge House, Winchester; John Delawan Lewis, Esq., of Westbury House, Petersfield; and Thomas Fraser Sandeman, Esq., of Stodham House, Petersfield, severally took the oaths of office as justices of the peace for this county; and on Wednesday Charles Reeve, Esq., of Sandhill Lodge, Fordingbridge, went through the same ceremony.
