PETERSFIELD.
INCREASE IN THE PRICE OF LAND.—At the sale of the late Mr. J. Ring’s property which took place at the Red Lion Hotel, on Tuesday, a piece of land, measuring 1a 0r. 1p., allotted under the late Sheet Inclosure, situate on Sheet Common, being one mile from Petersfield, and adjoining the road to Midhurst, sold for the high sum of £175. At the same time a piece of meadow land, being 1a. 1r. 29p., was sold for £125, adjoining the London and Portsmouth road, and one mile from Petersfield, both pieces of land being perfectly unconnected with accommodation.
