PETERSFIELD.
On Tuesday evening last, a most entertaining and instructive lecture was delivered in the National School Rooms, by the Rev. E. Huleatt, M.A., who delighted a large audience by the clever and amusing manner in which he described scenes in China, of which he had been a spectator, having in the capacity of Military Chaplain, accompanied the British troops to Canton, in 1857. We shall return to this subject.
