LECTURE.—An interesting and amusing lecture was given in the National Schools, on Friday evening, by the Rev. W. Wynn Willson, Curate of St. Martin’s, Denmark-hill. Subject, ‟Our Fireside Pet.” The weather was most unfavorable, but still there was a good attendance, and everybody went away delighted, having first exhibited their pleasure by heartily responding to a vote of thanks to the lecturer, which was moved by the Rev. W. Sumner.
