FREEMASONRY.—The members of the lodge of Friendship, No. 928, met on Tuesday at the Dolphin Hotel, when the ceremony of installing the Worshipful Master for the ensuing year took place. There was a good attendance, and among the visitors were Br. Augustus P. Fabian, P∴M. No. 487, Prov. S∴G∴W., of Hants; Br. J. Ogburn, P∴M. No. 342, P∴P∴J∴G∴W.; Br. Thomas S. Echalay, P∴M. No. 281, P∴P∴G. Chaplain, Wilts; Br. W. C. Redward, P∴M. No. 342, P.P.G. Supt. Works; Br. S. Hogg, S∴W. No. 487, P∴G. Asst. Dir. Cor., &c.; Br. W. Finley, W∴M. having been re-elected to the Master’s chair, duly installed by Br. Ogburn, P∴M., by whom the impressive ceremony was ably performed throughout. The W∴M. appointed his officers as follows: Br. J. Frank Hunnard, S∴W.; Br. Geo Lawrence, J∴W.; Br. W. G. Blanchard, Treas.; Br. E. Dally, Sec.; Br. J. C. Airs, S∴D.; Br. Joseph Soames, J∴D.; and Br. A. Cole. I∴G. The banquet took place at six o’clock, and was admirably served by host Crafts, and the evening was spent in a most agreeable manner.
