DISTRICT INTELLIGENCE.
NEW POSTAL ARRANGEMENTS.—The new postal alteration came into operation on Tuesday, 1st. inst., since which the bags are made up at the Petersfield Post-office at 8 o’clock p.m., instead of at 09.30 as heretofore. These alterations have caused much dissatisfaction in the town and locality, and are strongly condemned by all classes.
