PARISH OF FROXFIELD.

     NOTICE is Hereby Given,—That on the Twenty-sixth day of June next application will be made to Her Majesty’s Justices of the Peace assembled at Quarter Sessions in and for the County of Southampton, at Winchester, for an ORDER for STOPPING UP as unnecessary a certain HIGHWAY situate in the Petersfield Highway District, in the said county, (that is to say) a highway situate in the said Parish of Froxfield, commencing at the junction of the said highway with a certain other highway, which last-mentioned highway leads from the turnpike-road leading from Petersfield to Alresford and Alton towards, unto, and beyond the homestead and buildings of a certain farm, called ‟Alexander’s Farm,” situate in the said Parish of Froxfield, and extends from the said junction in a south-westward direction towards and unto and connects the said first-mentioned highway with a certain other highway leading from the said turnpike-road towards, unto, and beyond the homestead and buildings of a certain farm in the Parish if Privett, in the said county, called ‟Farnfield Farm,” and that the certificate of two Justices, having viewed the same, et cetera, and stating why such highway is unnecessary, with the plan of the said highway, will be lodged with the Clerk of the Peace for the said county on the Twenty-seventh day of May next.
     Given under the common seal of the Highway Board of the Petersfield Highway District this Thirteenth day of April, One Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty-five.
