PARLIAMENTARY RETURN OF THE ELECTION EXPENSES.

At the last election for Petersfield the expenses of the Right Hon. Sir Wm. Jolliffe, Bart., M.P., only amounted to £20 15s. 6d. It appears no expenses were incurred by Mr. Samuel N. Seward, the mayor, as returning officer, and that, therefore, no account was sent in by him to the candidate.
