     COURT—Present: the Hon. J. J. Carnegie, Sir J. C. Jervoise, Bart., M.P., and J. Waddington, Esq.

—   STEALING A HARE FROM A CART.—ALFRED EADE and JOHN BLACKMAN, two young men, charged with stealing a hare from a cart, at Ditcham, on Friday, the 1st instant, the property of William Resell, of Finchdean, and were remanded to the petty sessions, on Tuesday.

—   STEALING A WATCH.—JOHN JAMES M’AMENY, a labourer, was brought up charged with stealing a watch of the value of 30s., from the pocket of Robert Harris, who was asleep at the Sun public house, at Privett, on Tuesday, the 29th ult., and was also remanded till Tuesday.
