COUNTY BENCH.—TUESDAY.—Before the Hon. J. J. Carnegie, and J. Waddington, Esq.
John Powell and Henry Moore, of Buriton, pleaded guilty to a charge of trespassing in search of game on Thursday, the 5th inst., and were adjudged to pay a fine of 3s. each and costs.
William Kelsey was summoned for assaulting Martha Martin.—The case occupied considerable time, and was ultimately dismissed, 14s., to be paid by the complainant.
The license of the Trooper public-house, at Froxfield, was transferred from James Jarman to Mary Baggs.
