MIDHURST CLUB v. PETERSFIELD CLUB
On Friday the return match between the above neighbouring elevens came off on the heath, favoured by delightful cricketing weather, when some exceedingly good play was made on both sides, and was decided upon the first innings, by one run only, in favour of Petersfield. Great excitement was manifested upon the ground, as the game hung on the balance, and concluded in a first-rate match. The score :—
