HARTING.

A RUNAWAY HORSE.—On Wednesday evening last, a horse attached to a vehicle, and belonging to Mr. James Vincent, of Liss, who had just returned from Chichester Market, was left for a few minutes at the door of the Ship Inn, when it started off at a rapid rate through the street, passed through three gates and a farm yard on to the Petersfield road, passed several vehicles on the road, and was ultimately stopped at Petersfield by Mr. Stubbington of the Crown, fortunately doing no damage whatever in its course.
