12TH HANTS RIFLE VOLUNTEERS.—The eighth competition for the Sergeant Instructor of Musketry’s Cup took place on the 10th inst.—seven rounds at 500 yards—when it was won by Sergeant William Caplin. This being the third time of his winning out of eight competitions he is entitled to the ownership of the cup. May he live long to enjoy it!
