PETERSFIELD, June 27.
THE TOWN DESERTED.— Monday was observed as a general holiday in commemoration of the coronation of our beloved Queen. There was nothing in the town to amuse, consequently the streets had all the appearance of a Sunday, the pleasure-seekers going abroad in quest of amusement. Many of them had the good sense to proceed to Southampton.
