PETERSFIELD.
WHITSUNTIDE FESTIVITIES.—On Monday last, the 27th anniversary of the Petersfield Friendly Society was held the ‟Bell Inn,” when the usual well catered spread was placed before the members, and their friends, at half-past one o’clock, by Host Moore; and on Tuesday the members of the Union Benevolent Society, held their annual festival at the ‟Golden Horse Inn,” and also partook at the same time of a capital dinner, provided by Host Luff, in the Market Room. The members assembled each day at 11 o’clock, with their favours and banners, till the time approached for more substantial enjoyment, when they sat down and after spending their respective anniversaries, satisfactorily, enlivened music throughout, they separated.

PETERSFIELD.]—BENEFIT SOCIETIES.—The Bell and Golden Horse benefit clubs held their respective anniversaries on Whit-Monday and Tuesday. The Haslemere (new) band was in attendance on both occasions.
